I was waiting for the waiter to bring my lunch and had a little time. I jumped on my iPhone to check my accounts to see how much money I had made the day before. I was blown away to see $970 sitting there waiting for me to accept payment. The part that I found to be strange was I didn’t have a clue who sent it to me or why they had sent it. After a little digging I discovered that the money came from an affiliate that I had been promoting on twitter.

Although I have read all of the make money with twitter ebooks and reports I hadn’t made a single penny using twitter. It was a simple system of sending three tweets a day that finally landed money in the bank. To set up everything from beginning to end took about two hours. The even better part was it cost me less than $20 to make $970. I don’t know about you but that’s a pretty good damn return on investment. I’m really excited about discovering this little treasure, and you should be to. I am going to reveal to you the exact steps that I used to make money.

In the beginning I had failed to track my results, which did nothing but waist a bunch of time. The second biggest mistake that I was making was I was forcing my sales pitch on people.

The birds-eye view of making money using twitter is simple, give the people what they want. Solve their problems, and give them great content. If you were to only apply that strategy to your twitter advertising you will make money. I’m going to explain step-by-step what it was I did to make easy twitter cash. Make sure you take notes…

Step 1: Finding The Right Affiliate Product
You will want to locate a good affiliate product, in order to do that I recommend using Clickbank.com or PayDotCom.com, but that is a personal preference you can use any affiliate program that you choose.

When choosing an affiliate program you want to make sure that the program at least meets two conditions: The first condition you will want the affiliate program to have is a high ticket value. The second condition you are looking for in an affiliate program is a fifty percent commission.

Remember this when looking for your affiliate program… It takes the same amount of effort to sell a $10 product as it does to sell a $1,000 product.

Once you have decided on an affiliate product that meets the conditions that I have outlined, it’s time to move on to step 2.

Step 2: Register A Domain Name
I use godaddy, but there are a ton of places where you can purchase a domain. I have personally used godaddy for years with much success. Plus you can do a search for godaddy coupon code in a search engine and you can get a discount. That little tip alone will save you some money

Step 3: Web Hosting
If you already have web hosting that’s great. If not I recommend using Host Gator they have the best reputation and reliability on the net.

Step 4: Create A Mini-Course
The next step is to create a mini-course to giveaway for your twitter visitors. This is how you get the twitter visitor in the door and build your list. If you have been trying to make money online for any length of time you have heard the saying the money is in the list. Who would have guessed… They were right. The money is in the list.

Just because I said you have to create a mini-course please do not panic. Although it may seem complicated, I have made it so face slapping simple that even you won’t believe it. If you can turn your television on and off, you can create a mini-course.

Take the main benefits that they have outlined in the sales copy and turn them into short videos. DO NOT COPY THE SALES COPY USING THE EXACT SAME WORDS. Turn on your web cam and create one video per benefit each video should be no more than ten minutes.

If you don’t have a web cam or your like me and have a face made for radio then you can use PowerPoint for Windows operating systems or Keynote for Mac operating systems to create your videos. If you do not own either of those programs you can download them and each of them offer a 30-day free trial.

Step 5: Create Opt-In/Squeeze Page
Everything should be in place – it is time to add the final piece… The opt-in page! If you don’t know anything about building an opt-in list I recommend that you sign up for Aweber. It is so user friendly it is ridiculous. They have videos illustrating every little step. When I say every little step that’s exactly what I mean. It is impossible for you not to be able to set up an opt-in system using their services. The best part is you can try it for a month for $1 (one dollar).

Step 6: Twitter Advertising
Here is where the twitter magic begins. At this point you will start your twitter campaign. First you will want to take a peak at the competition to see what they are doing. Go to your twitter account and enter the keyword that best describes the product you are promoting in the search box. Check out what others are doing… Here you have to go with your gut feeling. Come up with at least 10 to 20 post ideas. Before you post your tweet make sure you are tracking the link that you are using to drive traffic to your opt-in page.

My testings show that posting three posts a day on twitter regarding your product works best. You want to test the different post ideas that you came up with in various time slots. Once you see that something is working… KEEP DOING IT!
